SAMSON MD1 Direct Box

Samson's MD1 Mono Passive Direct Box offers high-quality signal connection choices for a variety of live sound and recording applications by fusing outstanding sound circuitry with a robust, road-worthy architecture. The MD1 allows an unbalanced line or instrument sound to be converted into a clean, balanced line for balanced microphone input.

The STL transformer from Samson, which is equipped in the MD1, provides a long, flat frequency response with extremely little distortion. Longer cable runs are possible since the balanced output of the MD1's clean signal is less vulnerable to noise than an unbalanced line.

Using the MD1's Thru jack, the input signal can be terminated and transferred to a monitor or amplifier without changing the tone of the original audio. Given how frequently guitarists use in-ear monitors, it might not be required to mic guitar amplifiers any longer, depending on the situation.

The MD1 is protected by a 14-gauge steel chassis and designed to stand up to the abuse of the most demanding live tours. The MD1's durable outside shell safeguards its internal solder joints, connections, and switches from damage, ensuring the device's dependable, silent operation.
