Samson's STLX Mu-Metal shielded transformer for the MD1 Pro has an excellent resistance to hum and RF interference, an extended, smooth frequency response, and incredibly low distortion. Longer cable runs are possible thanks to the balanced output of the MD1 Pro, which offers a clear signal that is less vulnerable to noise than an unbalanced line. A 3-position 0dB/-15dB/-30dB attenuation control for switching between speaker- and line-level signals is also included with the MD1 Pro.

The Thru jack of the MD1 Pro allows you to transmit an audio signal while preserving the quality of the original audio to a monitor or amplifier.
