TONY DIXON Tuneable Tenor D Flute / Whistle Duo

This flute/whistle duo has the traditional straight bore aluminum low Flute/Whistle duo design body and has a strong feel and sound. The aluminum body reflects the sound wave with less absorption than its soprano counterparts, giving you a more metallic tone as you would anticipate from this tougher material.

Since one-piece whistles often have issues with playing pitch due to the greater mass of material, we only create low-D metal whistles that are tuneable.
