SEAGULL S6 Cedar Gloss Top
The Seagull S6 Cedar Gloss Top is a steel string acoustic guitar. It comes with a solid cedar top and wild cherry back and sides. Based around the popular S6 Original this version features a glossed top.
The Seagull S6 Cedar Gloss Top upgrades this great guitar. The solid cedar top looks fantastic with a glossy finish. It is select pressure tested to ensure consistency and excellent tone. Using laminated Wild Cherry for the back and sides it is a match made in heaven. It balances the sound beautifully to provide a rich tone. A Silver Leaf Maple Neck has been fixed to the body. This is topped with a rosewood fretboard. Tusq has been used for the nut and saddle. It provides a more consistent sound than bone. The Seagull S6 Cedar Gloss Top features an unusual headstock design. The idea is that the string tension is more centralised. It helps against gradual warping of the wood. This Canadian built instrument is a true workhorse and will improve with age.
