The soundboard and matching headstock of the TUC-50 are made of laminate walnut. Luthiers favor walnut's interesting heartwood because of its beauty and malleability. Because it is stiffer and denser than Mahogany, walnut has a brighter tone that rivals Koa. Open grains, on the other hand, enable a more prominent midrange that distinguishes Rosewood from Mahogany. Additionally, it looks really fantastic! The gorgeous grain combined with our hand-drawn Salamander design has already won the hearts of many people everywhere!
