The Flight TUC has more volume than the typical concert ukulele and vibrates freely with a bright, powerful sound. It is constructed with an arched ABS back. The ukulele is also sturdy and resistant to humidity changes, which have over time harmed many wood ukuleles. The soundboard of the TUC-40 is made out of laminated linden wood. There is a brilliant sound to linden. The mesmerizing Arabic patterns of the Alhambra Palace in Granada, Spain, served as the inspiration for the design of the TUC-40 GRANADA.
