The AKG C411 PP represents a small contact-style microphone built to record acoustic guitars together with violins, mandolins, and various string instruments. The microphone uses its internal condenser capsule to produce clean unmodified sounds, which it captures through surface vibrations against the instrument body. Its weight of 18 grams allows the C411 PP to stick to instruments through its non-marking adhesive pad near the bridge point. Stage and studio setups with phantom power benefit from this version of the microphone because it has standard XLR connectivity. You can achieve accurate and natural sound with the C411 PP which operates without needing bulky mic stands for either recording or live performance.
