The ASM Hydrasynth Keyboard is known for combining advanced synthesizer sounds with a flexible way to perform. It uses an advanced wavetable setup with three oscillators, double wave modulators, and many routing options for strong and detailed sounds. It features ASM’s Polytouch™ keybed with polyphonic aftertouch for maximum control over all your notes. Because of its well-organized structure and direct access to useful features, creating unique sounds on Hydrasynth is straightforward, whether you’re a studio producer or a stage performer.
FEATURES
- Polytouch Keybed: The new ASM Polytouch Keybed allows not only the standard velocity and aftertouch found on other keybeds but also supports fully polyphonic aftertouch.
- Oscillators: The 3 oscillators allow you to choose from a selection of 219 single cycle waveforms.
- Mutators: The Mutators allow you to modulate, bend, and sculpt the sound in new (and old) ways.
- Mixer / Filter Routing: The mixer allows you to mix levels as well as pan the input source. The filters can be set to parallel or series for ultimate flexibility.
- Filters: The Hydrasynth has two filters that can be configured in series or parallel.
- LFOs: The Hydrasynth LFOs feature a step mode that allows you to create patterns with up to 64 steps.
- Envelopes: The 6-stage envelopes feature Delay, Attack, Hold, Decay, Sustain, and Release stages.
- Modulation Matrix: The modulation capabilities on the Hydrasynth are endless.
- Arpeggiator: The arpeggiator allows for standard note arpeggiations and also includes a built-in phrase arpeggio.
- CV/Gate - MIDI - USB: Standard MIDI and USB/MIDI interfaces are provided, along with CV/GATE interfaces for connecting to modular systems.
- Main Controls: Navigate patches, configure system settings, and view parameters like envelopes, waveforms, and filters via the OLED screen.
- Master Controls: Includes standard MIDI and USB/MIDI interfaces, with deeper integration via CV/GATE for modular connectivity.
- Macros: Patch macros allow deep control over the sound engine during live performance.
- Patches: Comes with 5 banks of 128 patches (total of 640). Includes 256 factory patches created by professional designers.
- Effects: The effects chain includes pre-effects and post-effects for unique sound processing beyond typical synths.
