XL Chromes are warm, mellow flat wound bass strings with an ultra-smooth feel and dark tone, allowing quiet movement across the fretboard. Made with a high carbon steel core and stainless steel ribbon wrap, they are polished for smoothness and blend well into the mix. The 50-105 Medium set has higher tension for increased low-end response and output.
