Laminate sapele was used to create the Flight NUS380 Amber Soprano Ukulele. Sapele is a light-colored, golden to dark reddish brown hardwood from tropical Africa. Then, to create a distinctive and eye-catching appearance, we added a lovely finish. Its interlocking grain, homogeneous texture, and good natural gloss make it a close relative of mahogany. This ukulele's arched back amplifies and concentrates its natural resonance, producing a tone that is crisp and clear. Every ukulele we produce has hand-drawn and laser-etched rosettes.
